About the director Diederik Van Rooijen

Born in The Netherlands, Diederik van Rooijen (1975) grew up partly in Greece and in The United States. He graduated from The Dutch Film Academy in 2001 with his English spoken film Chalk. Diederik is currently living in Los Angeles with his wife and two children. Diederik is a creator, writer and director for film and television. Besides his feature film and television projects, he is also working for the 25 FPS Commercial Production company, directing commercials for Volkswagen, Heineken, Unox, BCC, Albert Heijn, KPN, McDonalds and others.

 

About the DOP Nicolaj Brüel

He is a Danish cinematographer, winner of the David di Donatello in 2019. He is known for his work in The Machine (2013), Dogman (2018) and Pinocchio (2019).

Nicolaj Brüel graduated from the National Danish Film school in 1991. He has since worked with some of the worlds best directors in commercials world wide and continues to do so. In 2018 Nicolaj shot Dogman for which he earned winner of the David Di Donatello Award for Best Cinematography and official selection at Cannes Film Festival. And in 2019 he shot director Matteo Garrone’s Pinocchio which won him a Bronze Frog for Best Cinematography at the prestigious Energa Camerimage Film Festival 2020.
